Cut in short runs
Each style is made by the hundred, not by the container, so the cloth and the stitching stay the same from collar to hem.
A small menswear label
Northfold cuts its own shirts, knits, trousers and coats in short runs, then sells them here without a middleman. Every page names the cloth, the fit and the measurements before you order.
Each style is made by the hundred, not by the container, so the cloth and the stitching stay the same from collar to hem.
Weight, weave and ease are printed on every product page, measured in centimetres and inches.
Orders leave within one working day and arrive in three to seven working days, tracked the whole way.
The same four checks on every style in the catalogue.
Cotton oxford, heavy jersey, merino blend and wool melton, bought from two long-running mills.
One block per category, graded S to XXL, so a large in a shirt matches a large in a jacket.
Two-needle side seams, bar-tacked stress points and buttons sewn on with a shank.
Garments are pressed, folded and tagged here, and every button is checked before the box closes.
Choose a fit before a size; the measurements below are cut on these four blocks.
| Block | Through the chest | Sleeve | Best with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular shirt | 4 cm of ease | Standard, cuff adjustable | Worn tucked or open |
| Slim shirt | 2 cm of ease | Narrower forearm | Worn tucked, no tie |
| Knit and fleece | 6 cm of ease | Ribbed, holds length | Over a shirt |
| Coat and jacket | 10 cm of ease | Long enough for a sweater | Over everything else |
The same cutter signs off every run, so a shirt bought this winter matches one bought last winter.
Every page shows the amount charged at checkout in US dollars, shipping included in the total before you pay.
Thirty days to send a garment back unworn with its tags, and the refund goes back to the card you paid with.
A seam, a cuff or a lost button is repaired here at no charge while the garment is within its first year.
Body measurements, not garment measurements. Between two sizes, take the larger one for knitwear and the smaller one for a shirt you wear tucked.
